Jackson decided it was time to get back to the roots of mountain biking. So he sold his full suspension and built himself this amazing steel hardtail. The frame is handmade, fillet-brazed, steel that Jackson did a lot of the work on himself.

He’s running a set of Diety carbon bars, with a beautiful colour matched stem and top cap.
This rig is driven by an SRAM 11-speed XX1 drivetrain being turned by a set of Raceface Next R cranks.
It stops with a set of Shimano Deore XT brakes.
Of course, it’s got a RockShox Pike fork that offers 150mm of premium travel.
The bike is rolling on a set of 29’er wheels with SRAM 900 hubs and a set of Cushcore inserts front and rear.
Jackson’s seated on a prototype Reform saddles MTB saddle, that’s mounted to a Oneup components dropper post.
